On November 1st Jordan Brand will release the Air Jordan 6 “Slam Dunk”. The shoe will honor the Japanese Manga series “Slam Dunk” illustrated by Takehiko Inoue, the series is about a high school basketball player Sakuragi Hanamichi who joins the school basketball team solely because his crush asking “Do you like basketball?”, it is also one of the first known comic series to be illustrated rocking the Air Jordan line back in the early 90’s. The popular series has sold 120 million copies worldwide and is praised for helping bring attention to the sport of basketball in Japan. Expect this collaboration to be limited so plan accordingly to secure your pair. Although no other info has been confirmed, rumor has it that this won’t be the only “Slam Dunk” shoe to be released.
